Car Park
Competitors may use the main car park. Please obey the instructions of the car park attendant. The Scottish Golf Union and Blairgowrie Golf Club cannot accept any responsibility for damage to cars.

Catering
Clubhouse catering will be available from 8.30am to 8.30pm. All catering is at competitors own expense.

Clubhouse
The clubhouse will be open at 8.00am each day. Competitors, their families and guests are permitted the use of the clubhouse facilities but the dress regulations apply to all.

Casual wear is acceptable but must be smart. The wearing of t-shirts, vests, football and rugby shirts and shorts, track suits, denim jeans and trainers are prohibited.

MOBILE PHONES ARE PROHIBITED IN THE VICINITY OF THE CLUBHOUSE AND COURSE.

Competitors must not change in the car park. Changing facilities are available in the Gents Locker Rooms. Coin operated lockers, showers and towels are available but towels must remain in the Changing Rooms.

Golf shoes are prohibited in the lounge or dining room.

Caddie Cars and Yardage Books
Yardage books are available for purchase and caddie cars are available for hire, both from the Professionals Shop.

Course and Play
Competitors will play 36 holes on Monday 6 September and 36 holes on Tuesday 7 September.
There will be no cut. However there will be a redraw after 36 holes with the draw for rounds 3 & 4 being based on score order after 36 holes i.e. leaders out last. The draw for the Tuesday will be made available as soon as possible after the close of play on Monday.

THE WEARING OF JEANS, SHORTS, SLEEVELESS OR COLLARLESS SHIRTS, AND TRAINING SHOES ARE NOT PERMITTED ON COURSE. Shorts are permitted if tailored.

Competitors must report to the Registration Desk in the foyer of Blairgowrie GC at least 30 minutes prior to their starting time. Starting times are shown in the official draw sheet.

COMPETITORS MUST REPORT TO THE OFFICIAL STARTER AT THE FIRST TEE 5 MINUTES BEFORE THEY ARE DUE TO PLAY and are reminded that late arrival at the first tee will result in disqualification.

Etiquette
In the interests of all, players should play without delay, leave a bunker as you would expect to find them, replace divots and repair pitch marks.

Insurance
The entry fee includes cover in respect of competitors legal liability in the event of injury to another person or damage to a third party property. An excess of £15 will apply.

Practice
Blairgowrie Golf Club has very kindly granted courtesy of the course for one practice round on Sunday 5 September subject to availability. Bookings for practice times must be made in advance by telephoning the office on 01250 872622.

Competitors can play from the Championship Tees. Except in accordance with the Rules of Golf, a competitor in a practice round must not have more than one ball in play. Exception - if a player misses a green with his approach shot, he may play one additional shot.

The club practice ground is available for use. Balls are available at the cost of £1 per basket (25 balls). The practice ground will be limited to mid irons only. Additional practice facilities are available a short drive from the club at Carsey. Players may use this area by supplying own practice balls.

Prizes
Prize vouchers will be presented to the leading four players.

Responsibility
Blairgowrie Golf Club and the Scottish Golf Union cannot accept responsibility for players’ property during the event.
